After being frustrated yet again by your inferior blog input screen, with disappearing cursors and with the whole thing getting screwed up if you dare to insert a photo, I've decided not to post anything here. If the Exalted Vox Masters would deign to actually do some fucking maintenance, that would really be great.

This place is falling apart: it's slow, it's buggy, and none of you assholes at Six Apart seem to care as long as the ad dollars keep coming in.

I have a new blog now: it's here: www.pop-ogre.com. Inputting blogs is a cinch, and it's fast as hell. The community I love is not present yet, but I expect a lot of you have alternative blogs over there as well. Don't be afraid to make contact.

I'll still pop by to read up on my neighbors, but until the serious problems with posting are fixed, I'm not going to bother to write anything.

I was afraid of this. Something tells me some of the best people on vox will soon start dropping like flies. I've tried hard to stay here regardless of my thoughts on the site maintence because I liked the community. However if you, and others I liked reading start leaving. I probably will too. I keep your blog book marked.

You should do the Blogger-blog thing. You're funny as shit. I'm sure there is some subject you could blog on about at entertaining length.

I like you're new blog and I completely agree with you on Vox. I can't remember the last 'release' they prematurely celebrated but they shouldn't have stopped there.

I started messing with Wordpress. It's got a bunch of stuff. Feels boring though.

I'm really quite content with the Blogger platform. It's fast, intuitive, and it was simple as hell to set up my own domain. Eventually I might get around to being brave enough to tinker with the HTML.

Just in case you haven't checked this out before, an awesome source for tutorials is: W3 schools I depended on that site more when I was in college learning web design then the class itself. There's -almost- no need to buy those bulky books!

I'll be putting your new site feed into my RSS reader. Sad to see you leave Vox but totally agree there doesn't seem to be any reason why you should be sticking around here and putting up with the crap they've been pulling in the past 6 months or so.

Still working on my Vox exporter solution - if I get it working, you should be able to export all your old posts and junk from Vox to an .xml file that you can import to Wordpress/Blogger so you can get your archives up somewhere else. I'll let you know if I get it working, in case you were planning to port over entirely.

I am so fed up with the posting issues you mentioned. I only post here very rarely now, and if it weren't for the whole you-can't-export-so-you're-screwed thing I think mannnnnnnny voxers would already be long gone. Ross, if you can do that, you would be legend slash hero.
